This privacy statement explains the nature, scope and purpose of the elicitation and use of information from visitors and users (referred collectively as “users”) by Rosemeyers, owner Patrick Rosemeyer, Rheingoldstraße 21, 10318 Berlin, Germany (“Rosemeyer”) as responsible authority.

Elicitation of data access

Rosemeyers collects data on each access to the online offer (called server log files). To access data includes name of the retrieved webpage, file, date and time of access, amount of transferred data, notification of successful retrieval, browser type with version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.
Rosemeyers uses the log data without assignment to the individual users or other profiling according to the legal provisions for statistical analyzes for the purpose of the operation, safety and optimization of the online offer. However Rosemeyers reserves the right to check log data later if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use due to concrete indications.

Elicitation and use of personal data

Personal data are only collected by Rosemeyer and used if permitted by law or the users consent to the data collection. In general it can be seen which data are stored, such as name, email address and message in the order form.

The needed personal information (such as name, e-mail address, mailing address, payment and bank data) are used by the seller for processing the contract. These data will be kept confidential, assigned encrypted and not disclosed to third parties who are not involved in the ordering, delivery and payment procedures.
While contacting Rosemeyer (via contact form or e-mail) the details of the users will be saved for the purpose of processing the request and for the case of follow-up questions.
Rosemeyers has taken organizational, contractual and technological security measures to ensure that the provisions of the data protection laws are observed and accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons are prevented.

Data forwarding to third parties

The data of the users will only be passed on to third party if this is legitimate or a user has consented to the transfer.
This is for example when the data forwarding is important for contractual obligations to the user and the address of the user is given to the shipping company after ordering, or the data are requested by competent authorities such as law enforcement authorities.

E-mails with promotional information about Rosemeyer and its benefits will only be shipped to users with explicit consent. The user can contradict the receipt of the newsletter at any time. In each e-mail the user finds a possibility of canceling.
Before sending the newsletter to the email owner he has to confirm the newsletter subscription. Unconfirmed registrations are automatically deleted within four weeks.
Messages about the contractual relationship with the user are not advertising information. This includes the delivery of technical information, information about the payment, questions about orders and similar messages.
The user can subsequently apply for removal from the notification list by e-mail at the above contact details.
As part of the registration Rosemeyers stores the login and the verification time and IP address of the user. Rosemeyers is legally obligated to monitor the applications to demonstrate proper registration.

Rosemeyer uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”).
